Zendeh Delan Presents Sufi Music & Sama – Yale University

Zendeh Delan was warmly welcomed to Yale University in New Haven for an evening dedicated to Sufi music and Sama. Set within an elegant and resonant hall, the gathering brought together students, faculty, and members of the wider community in a shared experience of music and Sama.

As the evening progressed, a quiet transformation could be felt in the space. The audience, initially observers, became participants in a collective experience, drawn into the subtle interplay of silence, sound, and movement. Each note and movement served as an invitation: to listen more deeply, to feel more fully, and to reconnect with the inner stillness.
