MTO Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism is an international non-profit organisation with centres spanning six continents, with over a million strong community and over 3 million online taking part in our online live webcast sessions. The history of the school dates back 1,400 years to the time of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and the founder of the school, Hazrat Oveys Gharani, who lived at the time of the Holy Prophet, and whose way of inward cognition was approved by the prophet of Islam.
The inspired and revealed spiritual knowledge has been passed down from the time of Hazrat Oveys to Hazrat Salaheddin Ali Nader Angha, the Master of the school, through an unbroken succession of Masters who are well known by historians and scholars. These Sufi Masters have taught students not to be followers, but to be masters of their own lives through self-knowledge.
