Journey of Love: Layla & Majnun – Konya, Türkiye

On 17 December 2025, Zendeh Delan had the honour of presenting Sufi music in Konya, Türkiye, during the sacred Sheb-i Arus ceremonies, commemorating the union of Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi with the Divine.

This annual gathering, held in the heart of Rumi’s spiritual legacy, brings together seekers and artists from across the globe. To share our music in such a spiritually charged setting was a deeply moving experience for our ensemble.

For this occasion, our performance drew inspiration from Nezami’s timeless tale of Layla and Majnun; a poetic masterpiece of longing, devotion, and the transformative power of love.

The audience’s heartfelt reception and the atmosphere of remembrance and reverence made this a night we will always cherish. We extend our deepest gratitude to the organisers, fellow artists, and all who welcomed us with such warmth in Konya.
